Lindsey Vonn is an American skier born on the 18th of October, 1984. In 2010, she retired after winning 4 World Cup races and the Olympic gold medal for downhill skiing. She has the second-highest Super Score of any skier male or female. She's among the top skiers in the world as well as the most loved american skier. Caroline Vonn, also known by her name Lindsey Vonn, is an American World Cup alpine racer who is a member of the US Ski Team. She holds the record of having four total World Cup victories. She is one of the most well-known athletes in American history. She's among only six women in history to win all five World Cup races for alpine-skiing. Overall, she's achieved the prestigious 82 World Cup championships. An elite skier and one of the most experienced ski racers, she has decided to retire after the World Championships which are taking place in Sweden. The athlete retired following a lengthy list of illnesses. Social media was her way to announce her retirement. Next week I'll compete in my last races of my career in the Downhill and SG World Championships in Re Sweden.
